Covered in pink,
Drenched in red,
The cold make them white,
Yet all I've done keep them black.
Burned,
Bloodied,
Cut and roughed...
Yes, these hands of mine sure are dirty.
Hold my hand,
'Round the bend,
We'll run and hide.
Up the hill,
It follows us still,
Our escape is clearly denied.
Closer it nears,
Feeding our fears,
We are about to engage.
But as we slow down,
We turn and smile,
And learn to accept old age.

The Human Resources Vanguard
There once was a young man, minimum waged,
Who worked a desk job, and wasn't really brave.
All day and night, he worked for his boss;
To get a raise, his cause was almost lost.
The boss had a fair daughter, smart and hot,
To which the young man, a chance, he had not.
Though every day, she would pass by smiling,
He believed that he was to her liking.
The one day, his boss stopped by his office,
"A promotion", he offered, "if you want.
Take on this assignment, and don't miss
An opportunity that many sought.
He gladly accepted this dreadful demand.
With his trusty ball point pen in one hand,
And bottle of white out in the other,

If we could build a bridge
To link the moon and sun,
Everyone would help
Until it was done.
Happy and joyous,
There'd be celebration about!
Light and dark!
Now everyone could have both no doubt.
But think about it,
If we built such a path,
we'd only get in the way,
Cause between the moon and the sun,
Stand what we call home,
And we'd have to take the bridge away.
A whimper for your worries,
A penny for your thoughts,
A dime for your troubles,
But those aren't worth alot.
A quarter for a look,
A dollar for your touch,
My hopes for your smile,
But that's still not much.
My dreams for your future,
My life for your own.
And although these things are precious,
It's not worth being alone.
Cause you can't do much
when the world has turned you down,
so in high hopes I follow you regardless,
of whatever perils, dangers, or digress,
cause the cost of losing everything,
is even more then priceless.

Prelude to a Revolution pt.1
Someday when your hopes will crash
you'll have to stand to attention,
and your home cinders to ash
you'll lose yourself in confusion,
the good versus the mighty,
Arson, anarchy, famine, poverty...
Heroes, martyrs, freedom, liberty.
It's a prelude to a revolution.
I swear, I'm sucking dry the sky,
The stars never looked so high.
On my back I lay as the bullets whistle above.
I can't feel my fingers, my toes,
I can't move at all, it's cold.
Though one thing motivates me to stand,
The lost lives of my grave brothers,
And the ones not yet lost,
I cannot lose another.
We cannot be stopped, we run in the fire,
We cannot be harmed,
Do I live for my thoughts,
Or do I slave for my beliefs?
Why do I imagine a world,
an escape for my relief?
I dream of a home where I can lay,
upon my bed without a fear,
where broken houses and ashes guide the way.
I dream of a home where I can smile
where my friends are still alive
and promises are still worthwhile.
I dream of a home where I can share
my hopes and desires,
my friendship and my prayers.
My home away from home,
my refuge,
My sanctuary,
my castle in the air.
Where sadness is seldom,
and true love isn't rare.
But I wake up,
the smile is gone.
Those dreams fade,
Reality hits the unaware.

All becomes nothing
The lotus shall burn
The petals shall fall
The trees shall cinder
The wind shall stall
The mountains shall tremble
The laughter shall die
The earth shall shatter
As it collapses into the sky
Walk with me
To a place where I once called home
Where the stars fall
And the lamp posts moan
Where buildings shall crumble
And the streets litter with bones
Hand in hand
Through the valley of roads
As moon shines red
Against a starry blue.
"Don't leave me" you say.
"I'll always be with you"
It's almost time
Screams and shouts and fear
The people run as the chaos outweights the hope
Prayers and cries and tears
All becomes nothing
The lotus shall burn
The petals shall fall
The trees shall cinder
The wind shall stall
The mountains shall tremble
The laughter shall die
